Accessibility Statement
This website — NormHarbor — is committed to making its service accessible, using the European Accessibility Act, WCAG 2.1 AA, and EN 301 549 as reference.
Conformance status
We declare ourselves partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 AA: the site is built with semantic HTML, verified contrast, keyboard navigation, visible focus, alt text, and form labels. We run our own scanning engine against ourselves, supplemented by manual spot checks. Some areas may still contain barriers we haven't yet detected.
Assessment approach
The assessment combines our engine's automated analysis (WCAG 2.1 AA / EN 301 549) with manual spot checks on keyboard, screen reader, and contrast. Automated analysis doesn't cover every criterion, which is why we — like everyone — recommend periodic manual audits.
Known limitations
We know about the following limitations and are working on them:
- The product film has captions and a text transcript but no audio description track; the transcript gives all on-screen text.
- Checkout and billing run on our payment provider's hosted pages, which we don't control. If you are blocked there, write to us and we will complete the purchase with you.
- Scan reports quote content from the pages you scan (URLs, code excerpts, text). That content is not ours and may not meet WCAG.
- PDF export uses your browser's print function; whether the resulting PDF is tagged depends on your browser.
- This statement is a self-assessment (automated checks plus manual spot checks), not a third-party audit.
Feedback mechanism
You can report accessibility issues by writing to hello@normharbor.com. We aim to respond within a reasonable timeframe.
